When and how do I receive the proof of insurance for my hire?

 

 

To ensure your trip is fully covered, please complete your rental payment and provide us with your identity documents.

To do so, scan or take a photo of the following documents and upload them in the "My Account" section, under "My Documents":

  • The three interior sections or the front and back of your driver’s license
  • If you are travelling with a Spanish vehicle, you'll have to enter your ID number

Once our Member Relations team has validated your documents, you will receive an email containing all the rental-related documents, including the insurance certificate.

Please note: All documents must be in the name of a single person and must be submitted at least 48 hours (business days) before departure. Otherwise, we will not be able to insure you for the rental—so please plan accordingly.
