4 Couchages dont deux dans le toit relevable électrohydraulique qui s’ouvre à la simple pression d’un bouton. Toutes les énergies nécessaires sont à bord : électricité, eau, gaz, chauffage.. 

Il dispose également à bord de : frigo, cuisine, table chaises etc... Le VW California : un vrai 'passe-partout', il fait moins de 5 mètres de long et moins de 2 mètres de haut (1m99)

Cela permet d’une part d’économiser au niveau des péages, mais c’est surtout un gros plus pour explorer des lieux difficiles d'accès en camping-car et passer sous les barres des 2 metres, il se conduit comme une voiture avec les 150ch et sa boite auto dsg7 ainsi que toutes ces options (CARPLAY, régulateur/limiteur de vitesse etc...)
