This was one of the best rental experiences I’ve had in my life! Besides from Yescapa being a bit of a clunky app we soon found this listing for ‘Maui’ after being turned off renting with an RV chain company after reading bad reviews. There is a lot of social media coverage on Maui so you know exactly what you’re going to get! I made the request to rent this vehicle and Max the owner promptly replied wanting to get some info on our trip plans and general personality’s. Immediately this made me feel like I was comfortable with the owner and that I wasn’t just a number to him. You can tell they really care about the van and don’t want to rent it out to just anyone for moneys sake but so that you can really enjoy the experience and adventure with Maui. We booked months in advance and max was constantly available to help us out with trip plans and answer any questions we had. This made it such a personal and comforting experience knowing you are talking to someone who cares about their van, your experience and their country and no to a robot or an employee doing their job. Their passion for giving you the best adventure possible was unmistakable. Max contacted me a few days before the trip to make sure we were all prepped and ready to go and gave us clear instructions on where and how to meet them, they were super helpful in all aspects! Roby and Max picked us up from the train station and gave us a thorough run down of the vehicle, everything we needed to know and didn’t leave any details out, their English is also great which was helpful as our Italian is non existent unfortunately! If we forgot anything during the trip there was also a YouTube video to check in with. Maui is an old girl and vintage so she takes a little bit of time to get used to but once you are comfortable with her it’s like hanging out with an old friend. Maui drives really well and handles all terrains like a champion, smooth, safe and tough as nails! Maui is super functional, Roby and Max have thoughtfully decked her out with everything you need for your journey, not to mention super stylish! Lastly they were there to help us out all along our trip, with travel suggestions to roads to avoid to great spots to park for the night they were there to help 24/7. I can’t recommend this experience enough and the absolute best people to deal with for any rental experience. Maui is a must, she stole my heart and I’m sure she will yours. Vincent is a true Gentleman, we left our luggage on the train to his house by accident and he drove us to 2 stations until we retrieved it, it was so nice of him to do that!! The rental was great, the van had everything we needed and was great to drive!! We had so many wonderful memories from our trip and France and Switzerland are 2 absolutely stunning places!! Hey, we had an awesome time in the motorhome! It was our first time trying it out, and it was great. We stayed for three nights at the end of October. The inside was really nice, fresh, and clean, and I loved the kitchen LED lights. The mattresses were super comfy, and I had plenty of legroom—I'm 6'1", and ceiling is also high - I could stand up straight without any problems. The owner, Albert, was really friendly too. He explained everything we needed to know, and whenever I had any questions, he'd reply super quickly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The photos are not the best, but in real life it does look even better inside. - Yescapa
Be ready for the most amazing experience of your life! Christophe's van is everything you can dream of to visit this paradise that is Reunion island. Let's start with the owners: Christophe and Clémence are an atomic couple, super friendly and energetic, they have the best tips on what to visit on the island and they were always available on text message for anything. It was a pleasure to meet and interact with them through my journey! The van: I'm in love with this car! It drives so smooth that it is a pleasure to travel both on fast highways and on wavy and steep mountain roads. The living area is taken care of to the smallest detail. Comfortable bed and pillows, good lighting, functional kitchen, quite some storage space and any big and small gadget you may need for your camping - the owners have thought about it and left it there for you. The island: it's an authentic paradise, full of wonders and surprises and everything is very close. If you're in the mountain and tired of all the fog and rain, you just drive 1.5h down to the coast and enjoy the heat and sun again. Tips for the stay: Only two serviced campings in the whole island and they're on the east coast/mountains (check park4night). By the coast there are public showers and toilets at all beaches. For the mountains there is a portable shower and shower cabin in the van but for me it was too cold to get undressed outdoors. Plan for a 1h-recharge of the independent battery that is used for the fridge/phone/power bank every 2nd-3rd day. You can charge it in restaurants or offices (e.g. I charged it at the scuba diving center while we were out on the boat). Overall it was the best experience I could have had and I can't wait to come back and rent from Christophe again! - Yescapa

The van is fantastic, convenient, very cosy, and good looking inside. When we had small issues/problems with the van, Pedro replied directly and came up with practical solutions. Everything that you need for an amazing holiday is in this van!We used it for a 3-week (kite-)surfing trip. All the gear fits inside. - Yescapa
Everything about the whole process went very smooth. Patricia and Pedro are both really lovely and we're happy we picked them for our trip.The van runs smoothly and it was perfect for getting around the island. It really helps that the van is not too big and bulky and you can easily navigate the narrow roads around the mountains. Would recommend to anyone looking to explore Mallorca! - Yescapa
The Grand California is a great campervan overall with only 40k Km on the clock as October/24. Certainly a pleasure to drive been an automatic. It is a MWB, easy to fit on normal size parking spot - just be aware of its height. The handover process was easy and straightforward - meeting point was near Faro Airport. Note that the owner requires the Insurance Excess to be paid by Cash or Bank Transfer, and not by Credit Card as most of us are used to. I would hire again!! - Yescapa

Auto bardzo fajnie przygotowane. Wewnątrz wszelkie potrzebne rzeczy. Duży zbiornik na wodę. Dobre ciśnienie wody pozwalające spokojnie wziąć prysznic w plenerze. Pojemna lodówka. Kuchenka z zapasem butli z gazem. Przyprawy. Garnki. Talerze. Kubki. Akumulatory i ładowanie panelem solarnym. Jednym słowem wszystko co potrzebne aby mieszkać w aucie kilka dni. Miła i swobodna komunikacja z właścicielką. Dziękujemy za 5 dni zwiedzania Sycylii 🙂 - Yescapa
It was a wonderful trip, one you can only dream of. Great country, great roads, great people. And most importantly — a top-notch car. In excellent technical condition, clean and cozy inside, equipped with everything you need. I got used to the car quickly, though the rearview camera hangs a bit unusually low. Also, a note: to turn on cruise control, you need to press the Set and + buttons on the steering wheel. Filipa was in touch, answering all possible questions, even about what certain road signs mean. We almost parted with the car in tears. I really want to come back. - Yescapa
Abbiamo affittato questo camper per un tour in Toscana con la famiglia ed è stata un’esperienza fantastica! Il veicolo era pulito, spazioso e ben equipaggiato, perfetto per un viaggio confortevole. Facile da guidare, anche nelle strade collinari, ci ha permesso di esplorare liberamente borghi e paesaggi mozzafiato. I letti erano comodi e la cucina ben fornita, ideale per pasti in autonomia. We have had an incredible time with Famcampervan! The van is just amazing and can tackle even the steepest roads of Madeira, which there are so many. Comes with all the necessary equipment to enjoy even an extended stay. Mauricio has been very helpful and responsive. We have loved our stay on the island and the van has definitely been one of the best highlights! Will definitely rent again when we come back next time! - Yescapa
