Visit Landungsbrücken (the docks) and take the opportunity to take short boat ride. When you return, visit the Speicherstadt (the city of warehouses) which, with its red buildings, forms the emblem of Hamburg. The old warehouses have been transformed into museums or into cafés and restaurants. The "Planten und Bloom" park in the city centre is an ideal place to take a walk. Stay there until nightfall to marvel at the water and light show. To go dancing any day of the week, discover Reeperbahn Avenue, a 930 m long street that runs through the pub and bar district.

If you want to swim in Germany, it's possible! To discover more about this beautiful region around the North Sea, make sure to visit Cuxhaven. Take the boat to check out the different islands. You can also take the car train, a train that allows you to take your vehicle on board in order to visit the island Sylt by motorhome or camper. On the other side of Hamburg is the Baltic Sea. The most beautiful sandy beaches can be found there. A 3 hour drive from Hamburg, you can visit the island of Rügen, known for its white chalk cliffs. Take a breath of fresh air and walk to Cape Arkona, where, in addition to the views of its natural surroundings, you'll find an ancient fortress. Jasmund National Park is not far away. Also discover the UNESCO World Heritage listed wetlands: white sand and tides make lagoons and tidal canals appear and disappear, creating a transition between sea and land. Different species of seals come to rest on the shores of the marshes.
